Business Development Manager - Hydropower & Water Resources - Germany

 A leading international engineering consultancy is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to work within their Hydropower & Water Resources team based in Germany.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identification & development of new projects
• Development of existing contacts & establishment of new contacts to potential clients
• Elaboration of pre-qualifications & EoIs
• Support in proposal preparation
• Identification of local & international partners.

The personal and professional profile required:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc., preferably in civil engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in international business development / marketing
• Professional experience in Hydropower and Water Resources
• Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken), additional knowledge of German, French, Spanish, Russian or Chinese languages would be advantageous.
• Regular business trips abroad (especially in Asia and Africa)
• Communication skills, ability to work in a team, ability to work under pressure and a high commitment to work
• Responsible and structured way of working as well as flexibility.

The Basic salary consists of +80,000 Euro’s per annum (based on experience), a Bonus (potentially up to 20%), Relocation bonus, extensive social benefits and the participation in corporate success.
