Join a leading European Environmental & Engineering consultancy who specialise water projects internationally. This role is based in a city office in Oman and focus on leading projects focused on flood protection schemes (dams plus channels). This role is on a residential contract for a minimum of 2 years.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale infrastructure projects and be heavily involved in the feasibility and selection of different type of dams (Concrete, RCC earth fill, rockfill, etc.) You will need experience in the design of medium to large dams (RCC, earthfill, rockfill), including lateral spillways, stilling basins, plastic concrete, asphalt and clay cores, diversion works, etc.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in flood protection, hydraulic engineering, or related areas.
- Proficiency in dam design software
