Be part of Australia’s mega hydropower project, this pumped storage development will output over 2,000MW of power. You report into the Technical Project Manager, based close to the project site in a small town with the resident design team. Your main responsibility will be for the design of the balance of plant package for the future plant.
You will live in a town local to the project and is suitable for family status. There is a potential option to transition to a site based, Resident role in 2025 to oversee equipment installation activities on a “drive in, drive out” basis on either 7-day or 21-day rotations.
Electrical BOP scope includes:
- Single line diagrams (LV distribution)
- Installation of equipment and routing
- Electrical panel design
- Routing drawings
- Cable lists and calculations
- Lighting Power Balance
- Management of interfaces.
You will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, (ideally Master’s Degree).
- At least 5 years of similar experience
- Experience with low voltage electricity autonomy and ideally hydroelectric BOP design + installation oversight experience.
- A solid user of Office suite & AutoCAD. It is a benefit if you are also familiar with; REVIT MEP, Naviswork, Dialux, Caneco BT.
- Fluency in English.
