An international renewable energy developer is currently growing a new division to focus on renewable energy projects in across northern Africa, they can include smaller scale PV, hydro, biomass etc. You will work from their central offices in a vibrant African city which has a strong expat community.
Part of the success will come from a person with high energy and passion for delivering, along with technical competence with the ability to report on progress into the GM of this business unit.
What you will be expected to do:
- Support BD teams providing input during feasibility stages
- Review EPC contracts, engage and select contractors
- Manage overall construction and the on-site teams for several projects and report to the GM
- After construction support the commissioning and operational teams
Requirements:
- At least 15 years’ experience in construction project management including managing EPC contracts
- Knowledge and experience of several renewable energy technologies to ensure the best solution
- A Degree in Engineering
What they will offer you:
Gross salary: between $150,000 - $180,000 Gross per annum on an employee long term contract + medical cover. Suitable for marital status.
