An international engineering consultancy specialising in Energy, Water and Infrastructure services is looking to hire a Senior Geologist / Engineering Geologist for a site-based role in Australia. This is a Resident role but not in a remote location, there is a possibility to rent your own place in a local town so the option to bring your partner is possible!
You will be acting as the designer’s representative and responsible for liaising between the design office and construction site whilst reporting into the client on progress during meetings.
Ideally, you will have Rock Tunnel experience (Drill & Blast, TBM) with at least 15 x years total experience who is able to start asap.
They offer several interesting projects internationally from conception through to commissioning involving Hydro, Dams’, Hydraulic and Water Resource engineering. You will be joining a multidisciplinary team with huge development potential and a dynamic atmosphere.
You must meet the following criteria:
- Degree in Geology / Civil Engineering (Ideally Masters’)
- + 15 years of experience in Hydro / Infrastructure Engineering
Salary & Package:
A permanent and full-time contract with a basic salary of 235,000 AUD Gross per annum. PLUS:
- Site allowance 20,000 AUD Gross per annum
- 11% Contribution to superannuation (Pension)
- 1 x Return air ticket per annum
- full accommodation & meals whilst on site during roster days
- Chartered flight options from project to Sydney; Melbourne & Brisbane for the roster of 2 weeks on, 1 week off.
The salary can be negotiated for the right person.
