Hydropower & Dam Engineering

Hydropower is an attractive form of renewable energy channelling the globe’s water flow as it can provide large quantities of electricity without the requirement for expensive fuel. Therefore, hydropower assets are being developed worldwide to support local communities and the effects of climate change.

The current potential for hydropower development and construction is around 70% of the world’s current water resources, harnessing this potential is the true challenge that encompasses the exciting environment of hydropower engineering.

They are often large and expensive projects however they are supported with huge investment initiatives from governments and international banks to supply vital power to national grids. Many small hydro schemes exist which provide power to less developed parts of the world to ensure accessibility to all.

We have placed many key professionals leading the design and construction for these projects and strive to continue our work to build a better, more energy efficient world.
