Join a large hydropower construction project, on site with a team of experts, construction is already underway!
You will report to the CRE and manage all aspects of HSE; site team OHS & Consultant’s HSE activities.
You will ensure the complete and implementation of HSE policies, guidelines & procedures, within the site team whilst managing and training HSE delegated staff.
In addition, you will be responsible for leading the consultant’s HSE team to perform all required HSE activities as per the consultant’s contract. You will coordinate with the HQ and site teams and any third parties in order to avoid accidents at work and occupational health issues based on a large hydropower project in a climate where the winters get cold.
What you will bring to the team:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, HSE or equivalent
- Additional professional qualification(s) in HSE Management Systems
- At least 20 years’ experience in HSE in construction industry, 5 of which in hydropower projects
- Very good knowledge of ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001;
- Fluent in English
- Excellent command of word and excel.

A tax free net salary of up to 13,000 USD net / month worked on a 1 year (rolling) freelance contract + 4 x return trips / years + insurance + decent accommodation. Negotiable.
