Work for a junior hydropower developer and operator who are committed to developing small scale hydropower projects in Africa.
You will work as a senior member in their central team optimising and planning construction work, working either remotely and / or from their Paris office, with some travel to Africa will be expected from time to time.
You will work in close collaboration with project managers, local teams, and subcontractors, you will help ensure efficient, controlled execution that meets quality and safety standards.

You will be responsible for the following:
- Quoting and planning of works
- Produce precise project estimates (costs, deadlines, resources).
- Develop construction methods in collaboration with project managers.
- Define labor, materials and equipment requirements for each phase of the construction site.
- Propose solutions to optimize costs and reduce risks.
- Coordination of teams and subcontractors
- Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure alignment with methods and resources.
- Participate in planning work sequences and monitoring the overall schedule.
- Ensure smooth communication between local teams and technical partners.
- Control and monitoring
- Validate quality control methods and tools in conjunction with site managers.
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with costs, deadlines and quality objectives.
- Produce performance reports and propose adjustments if necessary.
- Contribution to technical studies
- Participate in feasibility studies, APS, APD, and DAO for projects under development.
- Provide technical support to engineering teams and design offices.

Your existing skills, experience and qualifications to bring to their team:
- Engineering degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in studies and methods on construction projects (ideally in hydroelectricity or infrastructure).
- Mastery of planning and costing tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering techniques and international standards (Eurocodes, FIDIC).
- Good understanding of APS/APD studies and logistical aspects.
- Ability to collaborate with multicultural teams.
- Languages: Fluent in French & English
What they will offer you:
A flexible working environment in a growing team working towards a shared goal. Salary will be around 70,000 EUR gross / annum but the figure depends on experience.
