You report into the Design Manager, based close to the project site in a small town with the resident design team participating in the design activities and the coordination with the Client, the Employer and the EM Supplier. Your main responsibility will involve various tasks dedicated to interface management between civil works and EM Supplier
Your main responsibilities:
- Coordinating the interfaces, from a civil works point of view, with the E&M sub-contractor.
- Provide a technical point of view in relation to; a) Expediting E&M Sub-contractor & b) Providing technical assistance to the construction team
The role will transition in 2026 until 2027 for the construction phase which will include regular inspection visits to the site, to check that the work is in line with the approved design (ensuring that design intent is met). During the construction phase, the position will be the one leading the communication and the coordination between Designer and the EM Contractor, assisting the Client in solving any possible issues and in relation to any possible request for change that may occur at site.
What you will have:
- Bachelor's Degree Civil or Electro-mechanical engineering (ideally Master’s).
- 15 years of experience, including 10 years on site
- Experience of managing Civil Works / EM Equipment interface management, at site on a similar hydropower project
- Proficient with Office suite and it is preferred to know AutoCAD.
- Fluency in English.
