You will be the technical lead for a hydropower rehabilitation project in Africa. The hiring company is the project owner, and you will need to join before construction works have start to supervise and coordinate all phases, from design to commissioning, while ensuring operational continuity during the work.
You will be based in Africa and responsible for supervising and coordinating all technical aspects of the hydroelectric plant renovation project and l ensure the proper execution of the work within the deadlines, budget, and quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate has solid experience in the hydroelectric energy field and has proven himself as a Technical Director of a similar project in a developing country, ideally in Africa.
What you will need:
- Engineering Degree in Civil, Electrical or hydromechanical engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience in construction project management from design to commissioning.
- Experience in the construction or renovation of a hydroelectric plant in a developing country.
- Ideally experience in Africa
- Fluency in both French & English

A negotiable EUR net salary and a flexible package. This includes trips home, and the option to have your family with you in the capital. Your time will be around 40% in the capital and 60% on site.
